Day 01: Stone Town & Spice Tour

Morning after Breakfast at 09:00 am the Stone Town City Tour takes you around the historical culture and architectural town of Zanzibar Tone Town, the historic heart of Zanzibar City, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site brimming with rich cultural heritage and captivating architecture. Known for its labyrinthine alleys, the town reflects a unique blend of African, Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences, showcasing ornate wooden doors, bustling markets, and vibrant street life.

Visitors can explore iconic landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Sultan’s Palace, each telling stories of Zanzibar’s past as a crucial trade hub. The narrow streets are lined with shops selling spices, textiles, and handcrafted goods, allowing for an immersive shopping experience.

The aroma of spices fills the air, highlighting Zanzibar’s reputation as the “Spice Island.” Stone Town also offers a lively culinary scene, where street food vendors serve up delicious local dishes like biryani and Uji. It includes a visit to the former slave market site, which now stands as an Anglican church built in 1871, the town market, and the Zanzibar Memorial Museum. the House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian Dispensary Cultural Center to Maruhubi Palace Ruins via Living Stone House. Day 02: Safari Blue

 A full day sailing, snorkeling, sunbathing on a traditional dhow, and seafood barbecue. Setting sail from Fumba, you will explore Menai Bay where dolphins are often spotted. When dropping the anchor at the Kwale sandbank, you can snorkel the coral reefs. At Kwale Island you will be served a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chickens, and coconut rice. The boat sails to a stunning natural lagoon where there is an opportunity to swim before the day ends.

Day 03: Prison Island

Covering approximately 50 square kilometers, it is a sanctuary for a variety of unique flora and fauna, including the endangered Zanzibar red colobus monkey, which is native to the island. This striking primate, recognized for its vibrant reddish fur and playful nature, thrives in the forest’s lush canopy.

Visitors to Jozani can explore a network of well-maintained trails that wind through the forest, allowing for close encounters with wildlife and the opportunity to observe over 40 species of birds, including the stunning Zanzibar blue and violet-breasted sunbirds.
